I have always been 100% crazy about dogs, and photography has been a big part of my life, as well. Finding a way to link the two as been very fun, challenging and rewarding.

My family has always had dogs and considers them an important part of the family. Kyla is my daily inspiration, a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix, rescued from the Edmond Animal Shelter. I call her my Husky Hybrid. She continues to entertain and warm my heart more and more each day. If I can catch one of her “special moments” in the lens, that’s even better.

My second inspiration comes from Abby, a prissy little golden retriever cohabitating with my parents just 5 minutes away. Her top-dog attitude and crazy habits bring a whole other bag of photo-opps. And of course, Kyla and Abby spend almost every weekend together, walking in the neighborhood, going on squirrel patrol and ruling the local dog park.

Photographing dogs is what I love to do, and I feel very fortunate to spend this time with God’s creatures.
