Kim Rodgers is a Los Angeles based pet photographer and graphic designer. She donates her photography skills to local animal rescue organizations and roams the dog parks of L.A. looking for hipsters that are in love with their dog(s). She realizes your friends will most definitely make fun of you when they hear you’re taking Fido for his close-up, and uses this as her motivation to create artistic images that your aforementioned friends will secretly be jealous of.

Michael is a life long animal lover and loves that he is able to combine his passion for animals with is passion for photography. Currently a graduate student at the Academy of Art University, he has decided to make humane society animals the focus of his thesis work and anticipates graduating with a Master of Fine Arts later this year. I’m the kind of person that talks to my dogs in whole sentences. In whole paragraphs, really.

I’m also the kind of person that believes we could all stand to learn a thing or two from our canine friends. Their constant, unflappable dedication to the things they love – be it human companionship or chasing a ball – is something you can never have too much of. This unique “dogism” is what I aim to capture with my canine portraits.

I don’t think of this as “just” dog photography. To me this is about the very real purpose of documenting the beauty of who we are and our relationships with those we love.
